Do you live in Devon and use assistive technology?

Through the Devon Engagement Service, we have been asked to find 3-4 adults with disabilities who use assistive technology, who are willing to take part in some short 1-2 minute video clips. Please see below for some information from Devon County Council about what they are looking for.

‘The films will go on the Devon County Council information website to educate and explain to others how assistive technology (e.g. 2 way cameras, door entry system, Ipads, Tablets, GPS systems) or apps (on their mobile phone for example) have supported their independence.

Ideally the participants have a care service at home; like a support care worker, to enable them to live independently, but through the use of this assistive technology their lives have been changed, and they are able to improve their independence and do things on their own, that they weren’t able to do before’.

The filming is due to take place sometime in February (date TBC).
