Live in Devon and interested in sharing your views on Safeguarding?
Have you got something to say about keeping safe at home, in hospital or social care?
Do you know and care for someone who could be at risk of abuse or neglect?
The Devon Safeguarding Adults Board would like to understand what is important to people with health and social care needs, including their families and carers.
To do this, the Community Reference Group is being set up and are looking for people who know and care about the safeguarding process to join them.
Some of the questions they would like to hear your views on include:
- What do you think abuse or neglect is?
- What does the word “safeguarding” mean to you?
- How can they help people understand what “safeguarding” means?
- If you have had experience of safeguarding (or felt you should have done) what worked well? Is there anything which could have been improved?
When does the Community Reference Group meet?
Go along to their coffee morning to find out more and share your views.
