  • Hosted a Rainbow Flag Raising Ceremony to launch the sixth Totnes Pride. The ceremony included a performance by members of Global Harmony and was followed by the Totnes LGBTQIA+ History Tour
  • Hosted the sixth Totnes Pride with the biggest street procession, day event and after party yet, with special guests Aderonke Apata and Fox and Owl
  • Facilitated a Jumble Sale to raise funds for Proud2Be, organised by Proud2Be volunteer Dot

  • Facilitated the third Proud2Be Team Residential at Sandwell Barns at Eden Rise which included the delivery of ‘Communication’ Training & ‘Power, Privilege and Pronouns’ Training to Proud2Be team members
  • Facilitated 51 mentoring sessions with 6 young people in Devon
  • Facilitated 29 counselling sessions with 3 young people in South Devon
  • Developed and delivered Anti-HBT Bullying teacher training sessions to 15 schools in Devon, as part of the National Anti-HBT Bullying Alliance
  • Developed and delivered Anti-HBT Bullying teacher training sessions to 1 school in Wiltshire, as part of the National Anti-HBT Bullying Alliance
  • Delivered LGBT+ Awareness workshops for 3 PSHE days at schools in South Devon
  • Developed and delivered 2 Healthy Relationships workshops to young people with additional needs at a youth group in Devon
  • Developed and delivered 2 trans awareness workshops to staff and volunteers at HM Prison Dartmoor

  • Max (Co-founder) was one of the panellists on a gender panel discussion organised by Exeter Phoenix and Exeter Pride.
  • Max (Co-founder) was one of the assessors on the School for Social Entrepreneurs Cornwall Lloyds Bank Start Up Programme Assessment Panel
  • 7 youth group members helped to run a Proud2Be stall at Exeter Pride 2018
  • 1 young person from a local secondary school undertook work experience at Proud2Be
  • Celebrated and promoted our work at 2 local Pride, LGBT+ &/or Wellbeing events
  • Received funding from Devon Community Foundation’s ‘I Will’ fund to pilot a brand new youth peer mentoring programme
  • Proud2Be co-founder Max completed the School for Social Entrepreneurs Cornwall Trade-up Programme
  • Lush Exeter held a ‘Charity Pot Party’ for Proud2Be. Over the weekend, all proceeds (minus VAT) from sales of their Charity Pot hand and body lotion, were donated to Proud2Be to support our work
